In 2012, we began our energy transition by replacing all the lighting in our showrooms with LED lighting. This pioneering choice has enabled us to reduce our electricity consumption in the long term, while improving the lighting comfort of our spaces. This first concrete step towards more responsible energy management paved the way for other strong commitments.
In 2017, we put our commitment into practice by installing 250 photovoltaic panels on the roof of our warehouse in Uccle. This initiative, supported by the Brussels Region, now enables us to produce 68,000 kWh of green electricity per year, reducing our carbon footprint by more than 60 tonnes. Two electric charging stations have also been installed in our car park to encourage clean mobility.
